How to Pay Standard Chartered Credit Card Bill via Website Guest Pay
The Standard Chartered website offers a Guest Pay option that lets credit cardholders settle their bill without logging in to net banking. This is particularly useful for cardholders who do not maintain a savings account with the bank, who do not actively use the online banking portal, or who simply want to make a quick one-time payment without remembering an additional password.
What Guest Pay is and who it is for
Guest Pay is a no-login flow built directly into the official Standard Chartered website. The cardholder authenticates with the credit card number and a one-time password sent to the registered mobile number. There is no need for an internet banking user identifier, and no separate registration is required. It is the simplest way for a Standard Chartered credit cardholder to pay the bill from any other bank's debit card, net banking, or UPI handle.
Information to keep ready
Keep your sixteen-digit Standard Chartered credit card number, the registered mobile number on the credit card account, and the latest statement on hand. The statement confirms the total amount due, the minimum amount due, and the due date. Choose your funding source in advance, since Guest Pay typically supports debit cards from any major bank, net banking from a wide list of banks, and UPI.
Reaching the Guest Pay page
Open the official Standard Chartered India website by typing the address yourself or selecting it from a trusted bookmark. Avoid search results, since impersonator pages are a common phishing pattern. Look for the credit card payment or pay your bill option in the navigation. Choose the Guest Pay option and confirm that the page is on the official domain before entering anything.
Authentication and bill display
Enter your sixteen-digit credit card number along with any other detail the form asks for. The system sends a one-time password to your registered mobile number, which you enter to confirm ownership. After authentication, the page displays the total amount due, the minimum amount due, and the due date for your card.
Initiating the payment
Choose to pay the total amount, the minimum amount, or any custom value above the minimum. Select your preferred payment mode from the available options. For UPI, the system shows a virtual payment address or a quick response code that you can scan from any UPI app. For net banking, you are taken to the chosen bank's secure login page. For a debit card, you enter the card details and authenticate with another one-time password from the issuing bank.
Confirmation and receipt
On successful payment, the page shows a transaction reference number with a confirmation message. Save or download this receipt as a PDF or image. The same receipt is also sent to the email address registered on the credit card account, and the credit card account is generally updated within a few minutes for most payment modes.
Charges and limits
Guest Pay through the official website is generally free for the cardholder. The per transaction limit and the per day limit depend on the chosen payment mode. UPI follows the standard UPI cap, debit card and net banking limits follow those of the issuing bank, and any specific cap is shown clearly on the screen before you confirm.
Safety considerations
Use Guest Pay only on the official Standard Chartered India website. Do not respond to unsolicited messages that link to a payment page, even if the design looks similar. Always confirm the address bar shows the official domain and that the connection is secure. Never enter the card verification value, expiry date, or one-time password on a page that you reached through a third party link.
What if the payment does not reflect
If the funding account is debited but the credit card bill is not updated within one working day, raise a service request with the issuer using the transaction reference number, the date, the time, and the credit card last four digits. Until the issue is resolved, you can also pay your credit card bill through Stashfin so that the due date is not missed.
Credit card payment services are subject to applicable terms and conditions. Stashfin is an RBI-registered NBFC. Please read all terms carefully before use.
