Guide to Paying Saraswat Bank Credit Card Bill via Website Portal
Saraswat Bank offers a full featured website portal that allows credit cardholders to view statements, manage limits, and pay bills without ever visiting a branch. Customers who hold a savings or current account with the bank can use the same portal to pay the credit card bill from their own funds. The flow is designed for desktop and laptop users, although it also works on mobile browsers when the official app is not available.
What you need before logging in
Keep the credit card number, the most recent statement, and the user identifier for the Saraswat Bank website portal handy. Make sure the registered mobile number for one-time passwords is reachable. If you have not yet activated internet banking on your account, complete the registration first using the option that the website provides for new users.
Logging in to the portal
Open the official Saraswat Bank website and click the login link for retail or corporate banking, depending on your account type. Enter the user identifier and submit the login password. Complete any captcha or device security check that the page presents. After landing on the dashboard, look for the credit card or cards section in the main menu.
Viewing your latest credit card statement
Tap on the credit card to open its detail page. The page lists the statement date, the due date, the total amount due, the minimum amount due, and the transactions of the cycle. Verify that all the transactions are recognised. If anything looks unfamiliar, raise a dispute through the portal or by contacting the bank before paying the disputed amount.
Initiating the payment
Click on the option to pay the credit card bill. Choose the savings or current account from which the payment will be made. Enter the amount, which can match the total amount due, the minimum amount due, or any other value above the minimum. Confirm the payment summary, accept the terms, and submit. A one-time password is sent to your registered mobile number to authorise the transaction.
Downloading the payment receipt
On successful payment, the page shows a transaction reference number and a confirmation message. Use the print or download option to save the receipt as a PDF or image. The same receipt is also available in the transaction history section of the portal, which allows you to retrieve it at any later date.
Paying without full login
For cardholders who do not maintain a savings account with Saraswat Bank, the website usually offers a quick pay or guest pay option in the credit cards section. This route asks for the credit card number, the registered mobile number, and a one-time password, and it accepts payment from any other bank's debit card, net banking, or UPI handle. The credit card account is then updated based on the chosen payment mode.
Best practices for safe online payment
Always type the website address yourself or use a trusted bookmark, never a search result link. Confirm that the connection shows a secure padlock and that the page belongs to the official bank domain. Do not save your password in a shared device, and log out cleanly after each session. If the portal asks for the entire credit card number along with the personal identification number on a single screen, abort the session and contact the bank, since this is not the standard flow.
What to do if the payment does not reflect
If the savings account is debited and the credit card bill is not updated within one working day, raise a service request from inside the portal using the transaction reference number and the credit card last four digits. The bank investigates and either posts the credit or reverses the debit. While this is being resolved, you can also pay your credit card bill on Stashfin so that the due date is not missed.
Credit card payment services are subject to applicable terms and conditions. Stashfin is an RBI-registered NBFC. Please read all terms carefully before use.
