How to Pay RBL Bank Credit Card Bill via Net Banking
RBL Bank's internet banking portal — accessible through the official RBL Bank website — is one of the most direct channels for paying an RBL credit card bill. For customers who hold an RBL Bank savings account alongside their credit card, the net banking portal enables a same-bank internal transfer that is typically faster to reflect than UPI or third-party BBPS payments. For those whose savings account is with another bank, the portal also supports external payment methods and the credit card may alternatively be added as a beneficiary through NEFT from a different bank's portal.
This guide covers the full net banking payment process for RBL Bank credit card holders, including how to access the portal, navigate to the payment section, complete the transaction, and what to do if the payment does not reflect as expected.
Before you begin: RBL Bank net banking registration
To use RBL Bank's net banking portal for credit card bill payment, you must have an active net banking account. If you have not registered, visit the RBL Bank official website and complete the net banking registration process using your RBL Bank Customer ID, registered mobile number, and debit card details. During registration, you will set a User ID and a login password as well as a transaction password for authorising payments.
If your RBL credit card is registered under the same Customer ID as your RBL savings account, the credit card will appear in your net banking dashboard automatically after registration. If the card was obtained under a separate profile, contact RBL Bank customer care to have it linked to your net banking profile.
RBL Bank's credit card customers who do not hold an RBL savings account can still register for limited net banking access to manage their credit card — the registration uses the credit card number and registered mobile number rather than savings account details. This limited profile may not provide access to all banking features but typically allows credit card bill payment and statement access.
Step one: logging into the RBL Bank net banking portal
Open a web browser and navigate to the official RBL Bank website. Locate the net banking login option — displayed prominently on the homepage or in the top navigation. Click it to open the login page.
Enter your registered User ID and login password. Complete any security verification — such as a captcha — and submit. RBL Bank may send an OTP to your registered mobile number as an additional authentication step, particularly if you are logging in from a new device or browser. Enter the OTP when prompted to complete the login.
Upon successful authentication, you are on the net banking home dashboard, which displays your linked accounts — savings accounts, fixed deposits, and credit cards — with their key balances and details.
Step two: navigating to the credit card payment section
From the net banking dashboard, look for the Credit Cards section in the navigation menu — typically found in the top navigation bar or the left-hand panel, depending on the portal layout. Click on Credit Cards to expand the credit card services menu.
Your linked RBL credit card will be listed, showing the last four digits, current outstanding balance, available credit limit, and minimum amount due. Select your credit card to open the card detail and management screen.
From the card detail screen, look for the Pay Bill, Make Payment, or Credit Card Payment option and click it to open the payment interface.
Step three: selecting the payment amount
The payment interface displays your current outstanding balance, the minimum amount due, the total amount due, and the payment due date. Payment amount options typically include the total amount due, the minimum amount due, last statement balance, and a custom amount field.
For complete protection against interest charges and to preserve the interest-free grace period on future purchases, always select the total amount due. If you are making a partial payment this month, enter the custom amount — but be aware that any unpaid balance after the due date will attract the full revolving interest rate applicable to your RBL credit card, and the interest-free period on new purchases will be suspended until the balance is cleared in full.
Step four: selecting the source account
After selecting the payment amount, choose the source bank account from which the payment will be debited. Your linked RBL Bank savings and current accounts will be listed with available balances displayed alongside each account number. Select the account with sufficient funds to cover the payment amount.
For RBL credit card holders who have a linked RBL savings account, this is a same-bank internal transfer — the most direct and typically fastest posting route. For those using the limited credit card net banking profile without a linked RBL savings account, the payment options may differ — UPI or external debit card may be available as funding methods depending on the portal's configuration.
Step five: reviewing and confirming the payment
A payment summary screen displays the credit card number — last four digits — the payment amount, the source account, and the transaction date. Review all details carefully before proceeding.
Click Confirm or Proceed to authenticate the transaction. RBL Bank net banking typically requires a second authentication step — an OTP sent to your registered mobile number or a transaction password — to authorise the payment. Enter the OTP or transaction password and submit.
Upon successful processing, a payment confirmation screen displays the transaction reference number, the payment amount, the debit account, and the timestamp. Screenshot this confirmation page or note the transaction reference number carefully — this is your proof of payment. An SMS confirmation is also sent to your registered mobile number.
How long does the payment take to reflect on the RBL credit card?
For same-bank payments from an RBL savings account to an RBL credit card through the net banking portal, the payment typically reflects on the credit card account within a few hours and in many cases within minutes, because no inter-bank transfer is required — it is an internal accounting entry within RBL Bank's systems.
For payments made through external methods via the portal — UPI or external debit card — the reflection time follows the standard payment rail processing timeline of one to two working days.
If the payment has not reflected within one working day for same-bank payments or two working days for external payments, contact RBL Bank credit card customer care with the transaction reference number from the confirmation screen. The team can trace the payment and manually apply it to the card account if it was received but not auto-posted.
Setting up auto-pay through RBL Bank net banking
RBL Bank's net banking portal may include a standing instruction or auto-pay facility for credit card bill payment within the credit card management section. If available, navigate to the credit card section, find the standing instruction or auto-pay option, link your RBL savings account as the debit source, and select the payment amount type — total amount due, minimum amount due, or a fixed custom amount.
Setting auto-pay to the total amount due is the most complete protection against missed payments. Once active, the full outstanding balance is debited from the linked account automatically each month on or before the due date without requiring manual initiation. Verify the first auto-debit execution by checking the RBL savings account statement on the expected debit date.
Paying via NEFT from a different bank's net banking
For RBL credit card holders whose primary savings account is with another bank, the alternative to using RBL's own net banking is to add the RBL credit card as an NEFT beneficiary in the other bank's net banking portal. Use the NEFT IFSC code and beneficiary account number format provided by RBL Bank for credit card payments — available on the RBL Bank official website or from customer care — and your credit card number as the account number. Once the beneficiary is activated, NEFT transfers can be initiated from the other bank's net banking with reflection typically occurring within one to two working days.
Viewing payment history in RBL Bank net banking
All payments made through the RBL Bank net banking portal are recorded in the transaction history section of the credit card account. Navigate to the credit card section, select your card, and access the transaction history or statement view to see all past payments with their reference numbers, amounts, and posting dates. This history is useful for personal financial record-keeping and for retrieving transaction references when following up on any payment query.
