How to Pay Dhanlaxmi Bank Credit Card Bill via Net Banking
Net banking is one of the most reliable ways to pay a Dhanlaxmi Bank credit card bill, especially for cardholders who already maintain a savings or current account with the bank. Once the credit card is linked to the net banking profile, the entire bill cycle, from viewing the statement to confirming the payment, can be completed within a single secure session.
What you need before logging in
Keep the credit card number, the latest statement, and the user identifier for Dhanlaxmi Bank net banking ready. Make sure that the registered mobile number is reachable, since one-time passwords are sent there during the payment. If your account has both a transaction password and a login password, both should be set and active.
Logging in to net banking
Open the official Dhanlaxmi Bank net banking page and enter the user identifier. Submit the login password and complete any additional captcha or device verification step. After landing on the dashboard, look for the credit card section, which is normally listed alongside accounts, deposits, and loans. If your card is already linked, the outstanding amount and the due date are visible at a glance.
Linking the credit card if it does not appear
If the credit card is not yet linked to your net banking profile, you will see an option to add or register a card. Enter the card number, the date of birth registered on the card, and any other detail the form requests. The bank then sends a one-time password to the registered mobile number to confirm ownership. Once the link is approved, the card and its statement details appear inside net banking from the next refresh.
Reviewing the statement before paying
Click into the credit card to view the latest statement. The page shows the statement date, the due date, the total amount due, the minimum amount due, and a transaction history for the period. Review the transactions to make sure all of them are recognised. If you spot an unauthorised charge, do not pay against it before raising a dispute with the bank.
Initiating the payment
Select the option to pay the credit card bill. Choose the savings or current account from which you want to fund the payment. Enter the amount you wish to pay, which can be the total amount due, the minimum amount due, or any custom value above the minimum. Confirm the payment summary, accept the terms, and submit. A one-time password is sent to your registered mobile number to authorise the transfer.
Confirmation and updating the credit card account
After the password is validated, the page shows a transaction reference number and a status of success. Save or screenshot this reference. The savings account is debited immediately, and the credit card account is updated within minutes for most flows, although some payments are reflected only at the end of the working day. The available credit limit also rises in line with the payment as soon as the credit is posted.
Paying close to the due date
If you are paying very close to the due date, complete the transaction at least one or two working days in advance. This buffer allows the payment to clear even if there is a delay between the savings account debit and the credit card credit. If the bill is paid on the due date itself in the late evening, there is a small risk that the credit card system marks the cycle as late.
What to do if the payment does not reflect
If the savings account is debited but the credit card balance does not reduce after one working day, raise a service request through net banking with the transaction reference number. Provide the date, time, amount, and the credit card last four digits. The bank reconciles the payment and either posts the credit or reverses the debit, depending on the outcome. While the issue is resolved, you can still pay your credit card bill through Stashfin to avoid any due date pressure.
