How to Pay AU Small Finance Bank Credit Card Bill via AU 0101 App

AU Small Finance Bank offers its mobile banking experience through the AU 0101 app. Customers who hold a savings or current account with the bank can use the same app to manage cards, view statements, and pay credit card bills in just a few taps. The app combines a simple interface with the standard payment controls expected from a modern banking application.

Setting up the app

Download the AU 0101 app from the official app store. Open the app and complete the registration flow, which uses your AU Small Finance Bank account or debit card to validate identity. Set a strong app login password and verify your registered mobile number with a one-time password. Once registration is complete, you can log in any time using the password or biometric option that you set.

Linking your credit card

If the credit card is not visible on the dashboard after first login, open the cards section and choose the option to add a credit card. Enter the sixteen-digit credit card number and confirm the link with a one-time password sent to the registered mobile. The link is created within seconds, after which the credit card outstanding, the available credit, and the due date appear directly on the home screen.

Viewing the statement and transactions

Tap the credit card tile to open the card detail screen. The statement section shows the statement date, the due date, the total amount due, the minimum amount due, and a list of transactions for the cycle. Older statements can also be viewed under the same screen, which is useful for reconciliation, expense reporting, or downloading proof of past payments.

Paying the credit card bill

From the card detail screen, tap the pay bill option. Choose the savings or current account from which the funds should be deducted. Enter the amount you want to pay, which can match the total amount due, the minimum amount due, or any custom value above the minimum. Confirm the payment summary, complete the one-time password or biometric authentication, and submit. The savings account is debited immediately, and the credit card balance is updated within minutes for most cases.

Saving payment receipts and tracking history

After every successful payment, the app displays a receipt screen with the transaction reference number, the date, the time, and the amount. The receipt can be saved as an image or shared through your messaging apps. The history of all credit card bill payments is accessible from the same card detail screen, so manual record keeping is rarely needed.

Setting up auto debit

Within the app, you can configure auto debit to pull the total amount due or the minimum amount due automatically from your linked AU Small Finance Bank account on each due date. Set the standing instruction to the total amount due if the account can comfortably absorb the full bill, since this preserves the interest free period on new purchases. The instruction can be paused or cancelled at any time inside the app.

Notifications and reminders

The app sends notifications when a new statement is generated, a few days before the due date, and after every successful payment. Keep these notifications enabled, since they reduce the chance of missing a cycle. If you prefer fewer alerts, you can fine-tune the notification preferences inside the settings section.

What to do when payment fails or is delayed

If the savings account is debited but the credit card balance does not reduce after one working day, raise a service request from inside the app using the transaction reference number, the date and time, the amount, and the credit card last four digits. The bank reconciles the payment and posts the credit or reverses the debit. While the issue is being investigated, you can also pay your credit card bill on Stashfin to keep the cycle in good standing and avoid late fees.
